Scripture: 📖 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear. Instead, He has given us a spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is a liar. It whispers that you’re not strong enough, not good enough, and not equipped for the battle ahead. But here’s the truth—fear has no place where God’s presence dwells. If you are in Christ, you are filled with His spirit…the Holy spirit…sealed by his power, love, and peace. So, God’s presence dwells in you. Have you allowed your heart and mind to process that? I mean really process that supernatural truth. It is just as supernatural as the virgin birth of Christ. There are these spectacular events, miracles, and the like that can only be done by Him, supernaturally. Please stop and process the reality. If you are in Christ, understand this: The Spirit that raised Jesus from the grave lives in YOU. The very Spirit of God, his presence, dwells in YOU!! That is beyond exciting and it makes the enemy madder than a wet hornet! He hates the relationship you have with Jesus and he will do anything to weaken it.

The enemy thrives on fear because it keeps us stuck. It stops us from stepping out in faith, trusting God’s promises, being bold, and fulfilling our purpose. But God has already declared victory over fear. His perfect love casts it out (1 John 4:18), and His peace surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Think of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:29-31). As long as his eyes were on Jesus, he stood firm. The moment fear took over, he sank. The same is true for us—when we fix our eyes on Jesus instead of our circumstances, fear loses its grip. We tend to give the enemy too much room in our lives. This happens when we forget what a treasure we have In These Jars of Clay. We must stop letting him hang out with us. He and his demonic sidekicks look for opportunities to devour us. We need to examine our hearts. We should ask the Lord to identify the areas. These are the places where we allow the enemy room to sneak in. Then…we need to stop doing those things. That is the only way we will experience the growth, maturity, peace, and freedom we have in Christ.

🔥 What fears are you holding onto today? Let’s help one another lay those suckers at the feet of Jesus as we choose to stand in His truth. Fear may knock, but we don’t have to open the door. God has the final say – the enemy has no authority over us.
