📖 “You, dear children, are from God. You have overcome them. The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” – 1 John 4:4

Let’s be honest—life throws a lot at us. A lot, A lot!! Some days, the weight of the world feels unbearable. Does anyone else ever feel this way??? I can’t be the only one that has those days. Fear creeps in. Doubt yells louder than the buzzer on the clothes dryer in our ears. We start to believe the lie that we are weak and pathetic. But here’s the truth: In Christ Jesus, you are already an overcomer. Even when you aren’t feelin’ it.

Why? The God who created the heavens and the earth holds all power. He lives inside of you and has already overcome the world! The same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in YOU! I use that phrase a lot in my writings, but it is such a powerful truth and bears repeating…over and over and over. If we would allow ourselves to be saturated by that amazing truth….OOOOOOH…how unstoppable would God’s power be in us, if he didn’t have to wrestle with us and our unbelief so often. I am guilty – and I feel the Lord and I waste time off and on with that….BUT GOD!!! My growth and yours is a process. Our heavenly Father is patient and slow to anger. He seeks to do what is best for us. Whatever is coming against you — whether it’s fear, temptation, or the pressures of this world — is not greater. The One who is within you is greater than all those things. Yes, I am going to say it again…the same power that raised Jesus from the grave lives in YOU!!!!! Can I get a WHOOOOOOHOOOOO???? That also translates as an AMEN in my book.

The enemy wants you to feel defeated, but he is already defeated. Stand firm in your faith and allow that truth to sink in. You are stronger than you think because God IS your strength. I pray you and I will walk in that GOD-fidence today.

🔥 What is one challenge you’re facing right now? Speak this truth over your life: “Greater is He who is in me than anything in this world!”
